WDM Access Network
Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) is a fiber optic transmission technique that enables the use of multiple light wavelengths to transmit data over one fiber. It greatly increases capacity and utilization of existing fiber optic backbones. WDM-based networks can transmit data in IP, ATM, SONET/SDH, and Ethernet, widely used for access and metro networks.
Data Center
Optical networking plays a vital role in modern data centers. It utilizes optical fibers and advanced optical technology to provide high-speed, low-latency, large-capacity, and efficient data transmission. Among data center cabling options, MMF can run from 450m down to 100m depending on the fiber type selected. But MMF has a very limited power budget which requires low loss cable plant. Therefore, SMF is becoming more and more popular due to its advantages of unlimited bandwidth and long distance.

Your attenuated LC loopbacks have been tested with accurate attenuation level and very happy with the smaller housing shell.
Can you also make MPO loopbacks MMF 1dB and SMF 3/5/12/20dB attenuation levels please?
We have tested the 24F loopback adapters and they work great. The 8F loopbacks we have not had a chance to test yet.
We might need the attenuated loopbacks as well when we run for long distance fiber. I’ll be sure to reach out with needs as they arise.
Remember this spring when we modified the muxes for my customer, they are very pleased with the work you did on those. Now they come back and ask what the lead time would be for 20 pcs with the following specification: DWDM 32CH+MON+UPG+1310W, I expect it to be channels 20-51.
I am glad that in the past couple of weeks we have increased our cable purchases to you.
