MTP® / MPO 12 Fiber Network Monitoring TAP Cassette
The 12F MPO to LC Fiber Tap LC Rx Tapped Cassette allows comprehensive monitoring of traffic across 12 fibers entering the front of the cassette, presenting the signals through both rear MTP® / MPO ports. One rear port connects to the live network, while the other connects to a monitoring device, offering configurable signal split ratios from 50:50 to 80:20. Available in all three MTP® / MPO polarity options—A, B, or C—this cassette is ideal for monitoring six duplex channels over singlemode or multimode fiber. The 12F MPO to LC Fiber Tap LC Rx Tapped design ensures accurate, passive, and non-intrusive access to optical signals.
These Fiber Tap Cassettes are fully compatible with Arkoptics’ MTP® / MPO Multi-Function Fiber Patch Panel series. A 1U MOD3 chassis could fit three cassettes, while the 1U MOD4 High-Density Solution could fit four cassettes and the 1U MOD5 Ultra High-Density Solution could fit five. This modular flexibility makes the TAP configuration supported through the 12F MPO to LC Fiber Tap LC Rx Tapped cassette deployable in any part of the network without sacrificing reliable real-time monitoring of critical optical infrastructure.
