16 Fiber MTP/MPO Cables for 400G/800G Transceivers
The 400GBASE-SR8 optical transceiver module uses a single row 16 Fiber MTP/MPO APC angled connector for use with Parallel Multimode Fiber. Use 100% of the connector capacity, eight transmission and eight receiving fibers, each fiber will run at 50Gbps(8 x 50Gbps). Additionally, the MTP/MPO-16 is also ideal for 16 Fiber Single Mode Parallel Optical Transceiver applications, such as 800G QSFP-DD/OSFP DR8 and 800G OSFP XDR8 optics connection, to establish a 800G Direct Connect.
Arkoptics provides 16 Fibers MTP/MPO patch cables allow the transmit laser fiber on position 1 to "cross over" and align with position 16 of the opposite fiber end. Options in Single Mode or Multimode fiber, ideal for 400G parallel linking between 400G QSFP-DD transceivers and for 800G parallel linking between 800G QSFP-DD/OSFP transceivers. They are factory pre-terminated and rigorously tested. Ultra-low loss MTP/MPO connectors can reduce signal loss during transmission to support long-distance transmissions and multiple connection areas.
