400GBASE-ZRP Compatible 400G QSFP-DD ZR+ DCO DWDM C-band Tunable Coherent Transceiver
The Arkoptics 400G QSFP-DD ZR+ Coherent Optical Transceiver is a high-performance, cost-effective solution for 100G to 400G optical data communication applications. Designed for 100G/200G long-haul and 300G/400G metro IP-over-DWDM applications, this module eliminates the need for inline chromatic dispersion compensation.
This C-Band frequency-tunable coherent optical module integrates a 7nm coherent DSP ASIC with best-in-class ultra-narrow linewidth tunable lasers, high-speed modulators, and high-responsivity coherent receivers, delivering superior performance across 100G DP-QPSK, 200G DP-QPSK, 300G DP-8QAM, and 400G DP-16QAM modulation formats. A variable optical attenuator (VOA) in the TX transmit path provides a 4 dB output power adjustment range.
The 400G QSFP-DD ZR+ coherent transceiver is fully compliant with the OIF QSFP-DD MSA. Digital diagnostics functions are accessible via an I2C interface as specified by the QSFP-DD MSA. Mechanical dimensions, connectors, and footprint conform to the QSFP-DD MSA. The module measures 18.35 mm x 93.26 mm x 8.50 mm and is hot-pluggable via a 76-pin pad and host connector.
