40G QSFP+ to 4x 10G SFP+ Breakout Active Optical Cable
The Arkoptics' 40GBASE QSFP+ to 4 x SFP+ AOC is a four-channel, pluggable, 4x 10 Gb/s parallel active optical cable breakout solution intended for 40G to 4x 10G applications. This 40G AOC breakout contains a QSFP+ module on one end and four separate SFP+ modules at the other ends. It integrates four data lanes in each direction with 40Gbps aggregate bandwidth, each lane can operate at 10.3125 Gbps. With reaches up to 300 meters, the fan-out active optical cable is ideally suited for high-density 10G Ethernet, 4x 10G InfiniBand QDR applications and is backwards compatible to the 4x 5G IB DDR and 4x 2.5G IB single IB SDR applications
Based on Arkoptics' proven VCSEL array technology and designed with MSA-compliant QSFP+ and SFP+ high-density connectors, the cable is compact, lightweight, and low power, widely used in high-density 10G Ethernet, InfiniBand QDR, and other datacom and high-performance computing applications
