8F MPO Fiber Tap

Arkoptics Base-8 MTP® / MPO Fiber Taps are engineered to deliver flawless in-line monitoring of high-density 40GBASE-SR4 and 100GBASE-SR4 fiber networks with complete traffic visibility, zero downtime, zero packet loss, and no single point of failure. These 8F MPO Fiber Tap solutions provide comprehensive visibility across all OSI layers and are fully in compliance with 802.3af and VoIP standards. As totally passive devices they do not require power, are 100% secure and invisible on the network which also means they have no IP or MAC address and thus cannot be accessed or compromised. Designed for high-performance environments, this 8F MPO Fiber Tap maintains absolute transparency while providing consistent and dependable monitoring.

Our MTP® / MPO Series Fiber Tap Cassettes can connect to MTP® / MPO trunk cables for monitoring a single 40G/100G connection, or to MTP® / MPO fan-out cables to divide one MTP® / MPO connector into multiple 1G/10G links using LC connectors. These cassettes support OM3, OM4, and OM5 multimode fiber cabling with a 50/50 split ratio. They integrate seamlessly into our MTP® / MPO Multi-Function Fiber Patch Panel, fitting 3 cassettes in the 1U MOD3 Solution or 4 cassettes in the 1U MOD4 High Density Solution, enabling easy deployment of a secure and efficient 8F MPO Fiber Tap.
