The 8F MPO to LC Multimode Fiber Tap MPO Rx Tapped Cassette from Arkoptics is specifically engineered for comprehensive monitoring of Base-8 fiber links. Its rear MTP® / MPO port allows direct connection to a QSFP SR4 transceiver through an MTP® / MPO patch cord. Each of the four Tx channels transmitted by the transceiver is independently routed to the LC TAP ports on the cassette’s front panel, providing clear, accessible monitoring. The front LC network ports can be connected directly to network devices, patch panels, or additional cassettes, making this solution ideal for Base-8 multimode networks such as 40G, 100G SR4, or 400G SR4 links. Leveraging the 8F MPO to LC Multimode Fiber Tap MPO Rx Tapped architecture ensures non-intrusive, accurate traffic visibility.

This MPO Fiber Tap Cassette is compatible with the Arkoptics MTP® / MPO Multi-Function Fiber Patch Panel. Up to three cassettes fit in the 1U MOD3 chassis, while four can be installed in the 1U MOD4 High Density Solution. This adaptable layout allows the 8F MPO to LC Singlemode Fiber Tap MPO Rx Tapped cassette to be deployed at any point in the network with any required TAP configuration.
