Description
E2000 Male to Female Fiber Optic Attenuator, 0~30dB Optional, Fixed Attenuation
Fiber optic attenuators are devices used to attenuate optical power signal levels in fiber optic networks for a variety of purposes. They are frequently used in fiber optic communications to test power level limits and temporarily increase the amount of signal loss after adjustment. They are also used in permanent installations to accurately match transmitter and receiver sensitivity levels.
The E2000 attenuator uses a push-pull lock at the male end, which is easy to operate and quick to install. When the male end is unplugged from equipments, the dust cover automatically closes to protect the pins from dust and contamination, while avoiding damage caused by network failures and lasers.
The E2000 attenuator produced by Arkoptics is available in UPC and APC polishes. The APC end face is widely used in radio and television and early CATV. Its fiber head adopts an 8-degree angle endface to improve the quality of the television signal.
