LC BiDi Fiber Tap

Fiber optic tapped cassettes are an extremely efficient solution to getting real-time visibility into networks for mission-critical data centers as well as networks. They provide the use of optical taps on active networks while ensuring complete data integrity with no interruptions.

Arkoptics LC BiDi Fiber TAP cassettes have been specifically designed to offer in-line access to monitor bidirectional fiber networks. They are particularly those with 40/100G Cisco bidirectional connections that use two multimode fibers in parallel to transmit signals. The cassettes can be used to monitor tools to record traffic that is generated by every fiber optic signal providing precise capture of packets and analysis. They also provide a low-cost solution for switching from 10G to 40/100G network.

BiDi Fiber TAP cassettes can be purchased equipped with OM4 as well as OM5 Multimode Fiber Optic Cabling with a split ratio of 50/50. They can be used in our MTP or MPO series Multi-Function fiber Patch Panel. They are able to accommodate three cassettes within the MOD3 1U Chassis Solutions, or four cassettes inside an 1U Chassis MOD4 High Density Solution and five cassettes within MOD5 in a 1U Chassis High-Density solution, which allows for easy installation and seamless integration of TAPs.
